At The Diamond Insiders we make absolutely sure to offer no less than the best quality diamonds available. All the diamonds we offer come with an official diamond grading report from either GIA or HRD Antwerp, two of the world’s most renowned diamond grading laboratories.
A Diamond Grading Report is an in-depth analysis of a diamond’s characteristics also called the 4Cs (Carat, Colour, Clarity & Cut). It also indicates its origin (natural or synthetic) and whether or not it has been subject to any kind of quality enhancing treatments.
Although the quality of a diamond relates to its monetary value, a diamond grading report is however an objective analysis and does not reflect the actual price of a diamond as this is subject to market conditions and demand.
The GIA Diamond Grading Report includes an assessment of the 4Cs – Color, Clarity, Cut, and Carat Weight – along with a plotted diagram of its clarity characteristics and a graphic representation of the diamond’s proportions. GIA issues the Diamond Grading Report for loose natural diamonds only, weighing 0.15 carats or more. For standard round brilliant cut diamonds falling in the D-to-Z color range, the report also includes a GIA Cut grade. www.gia.edu
An HRD Antwerp Natural Diamond Report is an objective report that confirms a polished natural diamond’s authenticity and provides a detailed description of its key characteristics, the so-called 4Cs: Carat, Colour, Clarity and Cut. www.hrdantwerp.com
